In 1963, the U.S. government began research to develop a practical lighting system that did not generate heat or require electricity to operate. The result was chemiluminescence - the secret behind these long lasting (8-12 hours!) glow sticks.

For years only available with a green glow, our glow sticks come in many colors: blue, green, red, purple, hot pink, orange, and white (use the comments field on the order form to request specific colors; we will accomodate as is possible).
