This enamel-coated metal lapel pin was produced for NASA employees and its contractors to wear as a symbol of their role in the first ISS mission of 2007. Featuring the official STS-117 insignia, these "Flight Team" pins are traditionally not widely offered to the public and therefore sought by collectors.

As shown in the inset, this pin features the new, revised emblem that includes Clay Anderson's name.
